Here at the Fetal Institute we believe that learning never starts to young?

MISSION STATEMENT

Here at the Fetal Instititute we have two main objectives: to study the human fetus and to celebrate it. As we examine all aspects of the fetus, from the scientific, medical, and anatomical perspectives, all the way to the social elements (e.g., what role does the fetus play in society?), we learn more about ourselves, the world, and fetuses. We're dedicated to answering some big questions. What is the fetus' place in our culture? What is it made of? If it were animated, what might it do? How might it act? Would it be friendly to fully grown beings? Why does it float like that? For us, it is not just "Who was it?" or "Who is it?" but also "What is it?" and "Why?". It is our goal to address questions like these, and we will not waiver. At the Fetal Institiute we intend to leave no aspect or element of the fetus unexamined. As Socrates said, "The unexamined life is not worth living." Here at the institute, we say, "That goes double for us!" The fetus represents serenity, security, and life, itself...and to us, much, much, much more!
